Cass
County , Texas
has produced many great musicians, who have contributed to a cross
section of music genre. The collective talents and careers of these
artists gave meaning to the local saying about Linden and Cass County
- " Where the music never dies! ". A museum to honor their
legacy is under development in Linden , Texas with entrants to the
museum to be selected by committee. A potential building site has
been identified - a historic old building that is sorely in need
of preservation. Musicians to be honored include local, regional,
and national stars.
The
Linden Economic Development Corporations would like to recognize
and honor on this website all of those Cass County musicians, both
professional and non-professional, who have enhanced our quality
of life through their music. While not all of these musicians will
be inducted into the museum, their art helped shape the culture
of Cass County. During this development stage of both the
website and museum, please email us via the website or ledc@lindenwireless.com
with updates/corrections on displayed data, or to expand our
list of native sons & daughters who have contributed to our
musical heritage.
