The community celebrates the beauty and abundance of spring wildflowers such as the yellow fringed orchid, lobelia, coral bean, coreopsis, Indian paint brush, phlox and many others. Drive the area to see these beauties. The festival features wildflower displays, flower show, window decorations, arts and crafts vendors, food, music, art show, quilt show, 5K Run, old-fashioned cake walk, horseshoe tournament, auto show, parade, and much more.

Cass County Championship Rodeo, Inc. is presenting this professional, sanctioned rodeo with contestants from all professional rodeo circuits nationwide. Presented by the Cass County Championship Rodeo Association, an IRS-designated 501c3 corporation, the rodeo is held at the Cass County Rodeo Grounds on Texas Highway 8 in Linden.

An all day event which includes live music & entertainment, a horseshoe tournament, an auction, and lots of great food.

Daddy of the Blues . T-Bone Walker was born on May 28, 1910 in Linden, Texas as the only son of Rance and Movelia Walker. A blend of African-American and Cherokee heritage, the Walkers lived in the Bear Creek Community near Linden. T-Bone's biography is located on this website under the musicians & museums listing.
The 2012 Fest will be honored by Bernita Walker, T-Bone's daughter and members of her family. The two-days of music will be supported by on-site food and vendors.

Presented by the Cass County Championship Rodeo Association. This is a working ranch rodeo. The scored events include Wild Cow Milking, Branding, Team Roping and Mugging. An unscored event of Ranch Bronc Riding will be presented.
